2 militants killed in failed rocket attack on Afghan forces

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: As many as two Taliban militants were killed in a failed rocket attack on Afghan national security forces in eastern Paktika province, said officials on Friday.

The provincial governor spokesman, Nabiullah Pirkhel, said the incident took place in Bermal district late on Thursday night.

He said that two militants were injured after the rocket exploded before they manage to target the check posts of the Afghan troops.
