29 arrested on drug dealing charges
AT-KABUL: Kabul police has arrested over 29 people on suspicion of dealing drugs in Kabul in the past week.
Kabul police in coordination with Counter Narcotics Police have conducted 23 joint and exclusive crackdowns against drug dealers in the past one week, as result of which 29 suspects have been arrested, said Kabul Police Spokesman Hashmat Stanikzai.
He said that the suspects were arrested from Kabul city and its districts.
Some 31.342kg heroin, 18.9kg crystal, 8.88kg opium, 3.825 kg Hashish, 190 tablets of K and 12 bottles of alcoholic beverages discovered and confiscated from the detained culprits, he added.
The investigation will be going on over the dossier of the all indicts by the relevant judicial organs, which after examining the evidences and arguments from both sides it will convict the accursed drug traffickers, he underlined.
