37 insurgents killed in raids

AT News Report-KABUL: At least 37 militants have been killed and 18 others received injures in different crackdowns of the Afghan security forces against insurgent across the country in the past 24 hours, security officials said.

In a press release issued here, the Ministry of Defense (MoD), said that Afghan National Army (ANA) in collaboration with Afghan National Police (ANP) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) personal have conducted joint operations against insurgents in different areas Nangarhar, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Urzgan, Zabul, Ghazni, Faryab, Badakhshan, Badghis, Nimroz, Herat, Ghor and Helmand provinces, in which 37 Taliban were killed and 18 others wounded.

The joint operations were also backed by the artillery and air forces as well, added statement.

ANA discovered and confiscated weapons and ammunition in the operations as well.
