5 Daesh fighters killed in Nangarhar

AT-KABUL: At least five Daesh fighters have been killed and a vehicle full of weapons and ammunition was seized in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Wednesday.

The spokesman to the provincial police, Col. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal, said that security forces during crackdown against Daesh have killed five fighters of the multinational terror group in Achin district the other day.

Meanwhile, in a media statement the National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Wednesday said that a pick-up vehicle loaded with heavy weapons has been seized in Kama district of Nangarhar province.

The NDS said that the pick-up loaded with heavy weapons belonged to Daesh.
