Afghan policeman, shot by NATO forces, succumbed to injuries in Kabul

AT-KABUL: The policemen, who was shot injured Tuesday in Kabul by NATO forces, succumbed to his injuries in hospital, Ministry of Interior said.

The police, who was working as guard for the Ministry of Commence and Industries, was shot injured yesterday at 12:50 pm near to Afghan parliament by the NATO forces for unknown reasons.

“The cop first was injured and then succumbed to his injuries in hospital” Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Wednesday.

MoI directed Kabul police to investigate the incident and the case is currently under investigation.

When contacted by Afghanistan Times the NATO press office in Kabul said “We are aware of the reports and are looking into them at this time.
