Ammunition cache recovered in Paktika

AT-KABUL: Huge ammunition cache belonged to Haqqani network was seized in a raid by the National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives in eastern Paktika province.

The NDS said in a statement on Wednesday that the cache of ammunition included 49 different types of anti-vehicle mines, 500 kilograms of explosives, 30 rocket shells, 29 mortar shells, 23 82mm cannon bullet, seven binocular, 50 military uniforms, nine wireless and a number of other arms which belonged to the Haqqani network in Urgun district of Paktika.

The terrorist outfit planned to conduct several terrorist attacks by using the ammunitions.
