KABUL: Ammunition cache belonging to the Taliban group have been discovered and confiscated in southern Kandahar province.

Ministry of Interior in a statement said that a cache of ammunition and explosives of the Taliban were seized by General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU).

The cache was seized in a search operation launched in 10th PD of Kandahar City.

The cache included land mines, as well as light and heavy rounds of ammunition, handed grenades and various other types of explosives, the statement added.
