Blast targets health workers’ bus, kills one in Kabul

KABUL: At least one person was killed and three others wounded after a mine hit a health worker bus in Kabul, officials.

A mini bus carrying personnel of the Panjshir health department, struck a mine in the Kalakan district of Kabul province at around 6:40AM on Wednesday, which as result one was worker was killed and three others wounded, said a statement issued by Kabul Police Press Desk.

The statement said that the wounded people were shifted to hospital and the case is under further inquiry.

Government employees are one of the targets of such attacks in Kabul and provinces. A number of employees of the ministries of telecommunication and information and culture were killed when a magnetic bomb exploded inside the bus carrying them in mid-March in Kabul.

Nobody including Taliban who are blamed for most of attacks on government employees has taken responsibility for the recent bloody incident. Taliban deny having hands in attacking civilians.
