Danish concerned over child labors

KABUL: As the country facing the problem of child labors due to extreme poverty, Second Vice President Sarwar Danish on Monday expressed his deepest concern over the issue, saying many children have been busy in labors.

In a ceremony introducing Anwar Sadat as acting minister for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, he spoke about situation of children, where many of them are under tense situation and have been triggered to labors due to poverty. Many of them also drop from schools.

However, the newly minister assured to pay more attention to the children, and exert all-out efforts to improve their situation.

The Afghan children are paying the price for endless war in the Afghanistan where 40 years gone but sill there is no end in sight.

Many children are living and working on the streets.  Based on 2018 reports, at least 1.9 million children are buy in labors, where the plight of the children is worrying.

Indeed, this figure is very much high, and it is a matter of concern and the government must take necessary measures to help them get rid of these miseries.
