Family dispute: Six of a single family killed in Nangarhar

AT News Report-KABUL: In the wake of family dispute, six members of a single family have been killed in the eastern Nangarhar province, authorities said on Wednesday.

They were killed in Saracha Naghlo area of Behsud district of the province as a result of personal enmity. It was Tuesday night when the incident occurred, the provincial governor’s house said in a statement, adding the killers managed to escape.

It added four brothers entered the house of their uncle named Salam and killed him, his wife and four cousins. The shooting was triggered by family enmity.

Probe over the incident has already been conducted and security forces would soon to bring the culprits to the justice, the statement added.

Khan Mohammad, a resident of the area, confirmed the incident and said the two families had a land dispute and other issues.
