Governor for Jowzjan appointed

AT-KABUL: The Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) has appointed Letifullah Azizi as governor of Jowzjan province.

Azizi was introduced as new governor by the advisor of First Vice President, Mohammad Nabi and Adviser to the IDLG, Abu Muslim Sidiqi, on Wednesday.

The two advisors asked the residents of Jowzjan to continue cooperating with the new governor for betterment of the province.

The new governor of Jowzjan vowed that he would try his best to resolve the all outstanding issues in the province.

He promised to build four important projects includes expansion of the potable water supply system, township for teachers, improvement of agriculture sector and building of standard hospital in the province.
