Indonesia reaffirms commitment to restore peace in Afghanistan

AT-KABUL: The government of Indonesia has reaffirmed commitments for bringing peace to Afghanistan. Special Envoy of Vice President of Indonesia for Afghanistan, Mr. Hamid Awaluddin said this in talks with the Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani.

Mr. Awaludin reaffirmed his country’s commitments for bringing peace to Afghanistan and expressed his country’s readiness to host the peace talks.

Rabbani also appreciated the cooperation and goodwill of the friendly country of Indonesia with respect to Afghanistan.

Both sides also discussed the expansion of bilateral relations, upcoming Presidential Elections and regional cooperation.
