Karzai asks govt to stop execution of inmates

AT-KABUL: Former President Hamid Karzai has asked the government to stop the execution of the prisoners, arguing that only the way of brotherhood and unity goes to the lasting peace and stability, his office said.

“The war is imposed on us by the aliens and the killing of Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour proves it,” Karzai was quoted by a statement, as saying.

He emphasized that no human Afghan should be happy by the killing of another Afghan, asking Taliban’s new leader to join the peace process.

Karzai has asked Afghans to be united, saying that the unity could rescue Afghanistan from the aliens’ interference and colonialism.
