Kidnappers’ ringleader held in Kabul: NDS

KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday arrested ringleader of a notorious group from the 10th police district of capital Kabul.

A statement from the spy network said that Gran Aqa was detained red-handed when he was planning to kidnap a leading businessman.

Aqa is the resident of Nijrab district of central Kapisa province and had hands in abduction of Ahmad Shah Wahid, secretary of Ministry of Public Works and another businessman from Kart-i-Chahar locality of Kabul.

One pistol, 13 SIM cards, a laptop and other equipments have also been recovered from the person, the statement added. (PAN)
