NDS arrests two suicide bombers in Kabul

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday arrested two suicide bombers linked with Daesh terrorists group in Kabul city.

In a statement, the NDS said that its operatives detained two young men from vicinity of police district 5.

“The terrorists were identified as Jalil Ahmad son of Syed Ahmad and Hamid son of Aminullah,” the statement said.

It added that the terrorists were arrested before the terrorist group deploys them to Nangarhar for further training.

They confessed that they were recruited by a commander of the terror group Mullah Abdul Latif in western Heart province.

This comes as the terror group claimed responsibility behind numerous attacks in Kabul city during the recent months with the latest attack taking place on a Shiite mosque, leaving 32 dead more than 50 money of them were children wounded.

Last month, at least 14 people were killed when gunmen attacked a shrine in Kabul as Shiite Muslims gathered to mark the religious festival of Ashura.
