NDS arrests two would-be bombers in Kunar

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) arrested two teenage would-be suicide bombers in eastern Kunar province.

A media statement issued by the NDS on Monday said that the spy agency has arrested two teenage suicide bombers in Kunar province.

The suicide bombers were identified as Abdul Khaliq, 15, and Samiullah, 14. “The suicide bombers were sent from across the border to Afghanistan,” the statement added.

The statement said that Abdul Khaliq is a 7th grade student from Tirah valley of Khyber Agency and Samiullah is 6th grade student from Dandoi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They were recruited by the Taliban to carry out suicide bombing in Afghanistan.
