NDS nabs 5 Taliban fighters in Nimroz

AT-KABUL: Afghanistan’s premier spy agency, the National Directorate of Security (NDS), has arrested five dreaded Taliban fighters in Nimroz province.

According to a press statement issued here on Saturday, the intelligence agency’s operatives busted the five-member group which was involved in multiple terror and subversive activities.

They confessed killing a well-known local elder in front of his home for 20,000 Pakistani Rupees.

The spy agency identified the militants as Mullah Abdul Malik son of Abdul Khaliq, Mullah Abdul Satar S/O Dad Mohammad a resident of Bakwah District of Farah province, Shafiullah S/O Abu Bakar, Khairullah S/O Mohammad Gul and Abdul Bari S/O Nadir a resident of Khas Rud District of Farah province.
