New ambassadors to 6 countries announced by MoFA

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Sunday announced the appointment of five new ambassadors to Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Czech, Norway and Belgium and one non-resident envoy.

Mirwais Nab has been named as Afghanistan’s ambassador to Turkmenistan, Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal to Pakistan, Syed Musdaq Khalili to Czech Republic, Shukria Barakzai to Norway and Mohammad Omar Samad to Belgium.

The nominations were announced in a brief statement from MoFA, which earlier appointed Hamdullah Mohib as non-resident ambassador to Columbia, Dominica, Argentina and Mexico. (PAN)
