 AT News Report

Spokesperson of the ACSN, Saeed Naser, in a press conference condemned the cross-border missile attacks and criticized the government over its silence. He also criticized Ministry of Defense and Interior for their alleged failure in this regard.

He said the government should take the issue seriously and has to ask Security Council for intervention to stop Islamabad from violation of Afghan soil.
He informed that the cross-border attacks had killed more than 70 civilians including women and children in the two eastern provinces (Kunar and Nuristan) while damaged public properties.
Deputy of the ACSN, Mina Khashea, said that if the government retaliate their attacks through the same way, definitely Pakistani military officials would not dared to attack Afghan soil again.
The cross-border attacks were started around two years ago in different bordering areas of Afghanistan, but were paused nearly one year ago. Officials said that the Pakistani military once again resumed rocket shelling four months ago and had fired more than 1,500 rockets till date.
Governor of Kunar province, Fazlullah Wahedi on Tuesday said that besides killing and injuring of people in the areas; around 800 families were also displaced by the cross-border attacks.
ACSN also expressed their concern over lack of security on Maidan-Bamyan highway where the insurgents were intercepting commercial buses and killed those who were government servants.
They said that due to poor security around 55 people were killed till date on the highway while heading to their homes or offices. Recalling the recent incidents in which insurgents on Sunday beheaded five young boys when they were on their way in Maidan-Wardak area, they alleged that the security forces in Maidan-Wardak were unable to keep the highway secure.
They further said that uncertain law and order situation disturbed the lives of nearly seven million people living in Bamyan, Daikondi, Ghoor, Ghazni and Maidan-Wardak provinces.
They threatened the government to ensure safety of the public lives or else they would come on roads for protest.
