Nine Daesh insurgents killed in Nangarhar
AT-KABUL: Nine militants loyal to the Islamic State (IS), also known as Daesh terrorists, have been killed in an air operation carried out in eastern Nangarhar province, official said.
According to government media office, the militants were killed in artillery strikes targeting their hideouts.
The airstrike conducted in Haska Mina district—a place where Daesh extremists are willing to change it into their safe havens.
The statement furthered that four hideouts belonging to the terrorist group were also destroyed in the artillery strikes. “Four hideouts of the terror group were destroyed.”
Earlier, over 17 Daesh militants were killed in US Air Forces airstrike on a moan compound of them in the same district of the province.
Several weapons and munitions belonging to the terror group were also destroyed in the airstrike.
