AT News

KABUL: The ministry of interior has announced the dismissal of central Panjshir police chief, Mohammad Ishaq Tamqin due to his failure in detention of a fled criminal, Hassib Qua-e-Markaz, who earlier had escaped from the security forces’ crackdown.

Meanwhile, in a video clip published in social media, Hassib claimed that security authorities have earlier asked him to kill a number of Jihadi commanders and figures in return for 2,500,000 Afs.

Nasrat Rahimi, spokesman for the ministry interior in a tweet said that the ministry has ordered the Panjshir police chief to detain Hassib but “he was unable to do so.”

Hassib has been accused of murdering, extortion and violating public security. Last year, the interior ministry has placed Hassib in a list of ten criminals and shared with media outlets.

The security forces have then conducted several crackdowns to arrest him but he succeeded an escape to his birthplace, Panjshir.

The ministry was also incapable to detain him in a special operation conducted last year in Panshir. Later on, some inhabits of the Panjshir had staged marches and criticize the government for what they said “duel policy”.

Meanwhile, Hassib has denied the charges on himself, saying the government has made a plot since he had denied addressing its demands. “I have your voice messages, you all are traitors,” he claimed, while pointing to the five top securities Generals that he mentions in the clip.

However, the security officials did not comment over his allegations so far.
