Saudi consulate warns Afghans against ‘fake representatives’

AT News Report

KABUL: The Saudi consulate in Afghanistan informs the people of Afghanistan that it has not granted permission to any companies, offices, medical centers or individuals to represent the kingdom’s diplomatic agency.

It said in a statement sent to Afghanistan Times on Monday that Riyadh aims to provide outstanding services to every Muslim, no matter whether they are in Afghanistan or in other places of the world.

The statement said that visas for hajj and umrah pilgrimages are granted only by the consulate free of charge, adding that “anyone who claims that he is authorized to represent” the consulate or to issue visa for hajj and umrah, is incorrect and fake.
