School in Ghazni set ablaze

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Unknown armed men have torched a school in the outskirt of Ghazni city, the provincial capital of Ghazni province, local official said on Wednesday.

The director of Ghazni education department, Mohammad Abid Abid, said the incident took place in Khosk area around 10pm Tuesday night.

He said unidentified armed men set fire to Imam Hudad High School and run away taking the advantage of the darkness.

He added that three classrooms suffered damages due to the fire but further damages were prevented after villagers reached to the school and extinguished the fire.

Abid also said that hundreds of boys are students of this high school in the morning and girls in the afternoon.
