KABUL: Seven criminals have been arrested for drug smuggling in provinces of Kabul, Herat and Nangarhar, police authorities said Wednesday.
Counter Narcotics Police (CNP) arrested three smugglers with 3270 tablets of K during operations in different PDs in eastern Nangarhar city, said a statement issued by Ministry of Interior (MoI).
Statement said that police conducted an anti-drug crackdown in Kabul city, which as result arrested three drug peddlers in 4th and 10th PDs.
Similar, border police succeeded to apprehend a drug runner with 558g heroin in Herat international airport.
The detained smugglers skillfully placed the drug in his abdomen and planned to smuggle it to abroadthat have been identified and arrested by police, underlined statement.
