KABUL: A shepherd was killed and more than 90 of his sheep were also perished in a traffic accident in the northeastern province of Takhar.

Jawad Hijran, provincial spokesman said that the incident took place on Tuesday morning in Taloqan city, provincial capital.

He added that police arrested a bus driver on charge of the accident and was under investigation.

Tens of people lose their lives due to traffic accidents in different areas yearly. Bad conditions of the roads and highways as well as carelessness of drivers are called as the reasons of deadly accidents.
