Spiraling violence hampers Zabul PC members work

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The provincial members of southern Zabul province on Wednesday said that despite they are discharging their obligation honestly and transparently, but the uncertain rule of law had been the great hurdles ahead them to meet pressing issues of resident of the province.

According to Pajhwok Afghan News, Asadullah Kakar, secretary provincial council said that one of the major achievements of the council was to great unity among different tribes of the province.

He said that after formation of local elders committee of different tribes had helped the residents to share suggestions with the provincial council members regarding any issues.

He added that the provincial council members having compulsory visits to the areas in order to observe situation from close and hear the grievances of the people.

The main focus of the residents is to have access to health facilities as well as improving agriculture sectors and establishing of school for their children, he said.

A resident, Ajmal Khan, said that growing insecurity and the worst law and order situation hampered development projects.  He added that despite the provincial council members have been making last ditch efforts to address the resident problems but the residents of the locality have been facing several of problems.
