Taliban’s IED blast kills 4 bomb makers, incinerating 80 shops in Ghazni

KABUL: At least four Taliban militants have been killed and 80 shops were set in ablaze after Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) belonging to the Taliban group went off in southern Ghazni province, official said Sunday. 

Deputy Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Fawad Aman said that Taliban bomb makers were making IEDs in a shop in the middle of the local bazaar that went off prematurely and killed four of them.

As a result of explosion, fire sparked and torched around 80 shops and incurred around 100 million Afs property damages to locality business owners.

It is pertained mentioning that the Taliban militants mostly use IEDs as weapon against Afghan and foreign forces. But unfortunately, often civilians are the victims. Also properties of the local people in different provinces get damaged due to IEDs blast.
