Terror bid foiled in Samangan

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security said Sunday that its operative thwarted a bomb attack in the northern Samangan province.

In a press release, the intelligence agency said that its operatives succeeded to arrest a man with motorcycle full of explosives in Aybak center of Samangan province.

Arrested man identified as Lal Mohammad, who during primary investigation said that he planned to blow up the motorbike in a crowded area in the city.

The captured man during inquiry said that “I had tasked by one of Taliban commander named Talha to conducted suicide attack by using the motorbike full of explosives in Aybak city.”

Statement said that by arrest of motorbike man with explosive intelligence forces succeeded to prevent a bloody incident in Ayback city, which would cause killing and wounded of innocent people.
