UAERC to build school in Nimroz

AT-KABUL: The Kabul office of the United Arab Emirates Red Crescent (UAERC) in collaboration with the United Arab Emirate (UAE) embassy based in Kabul has decided to build a school in southern Nimroz province.

 

A press statement emailed to Afghanistan Times, the UAE embassy said that the Kabul office of the UAERC signed an agreement to build a school in Zaranj center of Nimroz province.

 

The school would be named “Shaikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahian High School”, which would be constructed in one floor with 12 classrooms with complete staffs such as chairs and tables, one bookstore, and two laboratories, the statement added.

 

According to the statement, the construction of school is just aimed at improving relation between the two countries, as well as strengthening humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.

 

Beside school construction the UAERC has helped Afghan people through other humanitarian programs such as providing food items, sacrificed meets and digging wells in the country.
