KABUL: Three water conservation networks have been inaugurated in eastern Nangarhar province that helps the dwellers to no more scramble with water shortages.
Three water networks was constructed with high standards at total cost of 15 million Afs and inaugurated on Tuesday in Koz-Kunar district, Nangarhar Governor Spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said.
He said the networks were constructed through the water management program of agriculture provincial department, which would be a great opportunity for agriculture lands irrigation in the area.
The networks have over 3600 meters length that would cover 4900 acres of lands in the district, he added.
