By Farhad Naibkhel-KABUL: Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) said Sunday that 10,000 children with heart disease enlisted in ARCS for treatment.
“10,000 with the disease of holes in their hearts were registered,” head of the ARCS Fatemeh Gilani said, asking the people and nongovernmental organs to help ARCS financially to help for children’s treatment.
She called all these children poor and vulnerable that their families were not able to pay for their treatment.
“The ARCS is the only hope for the children affected by the heart-hole diseases,” she added.
“The ARCS will strive hard to serve for human at any point of the country,” Gilani noted.
International Relation and Press Department Head of ARCS Taib Yousofzai said that ARCS has helped hundreds of thousands people in every hook across the country this year.
He said that ARCS has branches in 34 provinces and has established strategic stacks in all provinces to reach to needy people during natural and unnatural disaster on time.
Pointing to approval of law of the movement by Wolosi Jirga (the Lower House) of the Parliament, he said that approval of this law will help ARCS to boost up its humanitarian services across the country.
It is pertained to mention that ARCS has 22,000 volunteer across the country.
