13 wounded in Maidan Wardak road accident

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: Thirteen civilians including five women and three children have sustained injuries in a traffic accident on Sunday in Maidan Wardak province, official sources said.

According to the media office of Maidan Wardak governor, the incident occurred in Shirazi Baba area of Sayed Abad district on Kabul-Ghazni highway.

A Townace coming from Kabul had a collision with a Corolla-model vehicle. The injured passengers were shifted to the civil hospital in Maidan Shar, capital of Maidan Wardak province. Four victims said to be in serious condition were shifted to Kabul.

Most of the road accidents are result of careless driving and poor road condition.
