1,410 army cadets complete training in Helmand

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: With the commitment to defend the country against any threat by anti-government elements, nearly 1,410 army cadets completed training at 215th Maiwand Military Corps Training Center in sourthern Helmand province, said official on Friday.

Speaking at a ceremony in Lashkargah city of Helmand, a senior commander of the Minitry of Defense (MoD), Abdul Khaliq, said the Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers have completed the training and now they were ready to use their experience in fighting militants and ensuring safety of citizens.

He said the ANA soldiers completed a two-month training and they would soon receive another phase of same period training to strengthen their professional experience.

He mentioned that the moral of the security forces has highly increased in compare with previous years, and they were able to conduct independent operations without the help of foreign troops. “The people of Afghanistan have great confidence on the national security forces,” he said.

He called on the trained cadets to use their ability and all their capacity in serving the country and foiling the evil designs of Afghanistan’s foes.

Shah Wali Zazai, a commander of the training center, applauded the struggles of instructors of the center in training the army cadets, and said that soldiers from different parts of the country attended the training in Helmand.
