AT-KABUL: Fifteen Taliban fighters were killed in different crackdowns within past 24 hours.
In a press release issued here, Ministry of Defense, (MoD) said that Afghan National Army (ANA) in collaboration with Afghan National Police (ANP) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) has conducted joint operations against insurgents in different areas of Paktia, Paktika, Ghazni, Badghis, Zabul and Uruzgan provinces. In these operations 15 rebels were killed.
Fourteen insurgents were arrested and handed over to the relevant organization for interrogation.
ANP discovered and confiscated weapons and ammunition in the operations as well. Thirteen soldiers were also killed in these operations.
