KABUL: At least 2 civilians were killed and 28 others including 5 members of the Islamic Emirate forces were wounded in a bombing on Monday in Ghani district in Nangarhar province, according to officials.
The blast took place in the morning in Shirgar market.
The blast was due to a magnetic mine targeting the vehicle of the head of the district health department, according to provincial department of information and culture.
The wounded have been brought to the provincial hospital.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
