AT-KABUL: A fierce clash was happened between tribal militia forces and Daesh insurgents in eastern Nangarhar province, resulting into killing of four Daesh rebels, while two others captured, the governor’s spokesman said on Monday.
Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the Daesh or Islamic State militants and members of the public uprising group clashed in Nazyan district on Monday night.
Moreover, he identified the slain militants as residents of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Their bodies, three Kalashnikovs and a suicide vest have been received from the clash site, said Khogyani, adding a civilian, who was in Daesh custody, was also rescued.
However, the Daesh group has not commented into the matter so far.
