40 Afghans detained in Pakistan’s Quetta

KABUL: Pakistan’s police and other security forces in Balochistan province claimed to have arrested over 40 Afghan nationals during a search operation around an airbase in Quetta.

According to Pakistan’s dawn.com, police has claimed the Afghan nationals were living in an area around Khalid Airbase illegally.

“They were handed over to the authorities concerned for investigation,” police said.

The arrests of Afghans took place following the attack on Pakistan Air Force’s Badaber camp in Peshawar in which 29 military personnel and civilians were killed. (PAN)
