41 development projects completed in Kunar

AT-KABUL: The National Solidarity Program (NSP) completed 41 development projects in the districts of Sarkani, Narang and Nurgal as well as Asadabad city, provincial capital of the eastern Kunar province.

According to a statement issued by the solidarity program, the projects include the construction of more than 3,000 meters of protection walls, more than 18,000 meters of retaining walls, sidewalks in 13,395 meter length, 50 lavatories, 9,194-meter water supply network and 52 boring wells.

The projects have been estimated 72 million Afghanis funded by the national solidarity program, which is serving mostly in rural construction projects under the ministry of rural rehabilitation and development.

Approximately 6,610 families in various communities would benefit from these projects.
