45kg narcotics seized in Nangarhar

KABUL: Counter Narcotic Police (CNP) has discovered and confiscated some 45kg drug in counternarcotics operations in eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday.

CNP in a statement said that seized the drugs in Surkh road district of the province.

The drug comprised of 14kg heroin, 28kg hashish and 3kg chemical that have been confiscated during an operation conducted by CNP in the district.

No one arrested in connection, but CNP said inquiry has been ongoing over the case.
