AT-KABUL: At least 49 armed Taliban fighters were killed and 30 others were wounded in different crackdowns within past 24 hours.
In a press release issued here, Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that Afghan National Police (ANP) in collaboration with Afghan National Army (ANA) and National Directorate of Security (NDS) has conducted clearance operations against insurgents in different areas of Kapisa, Takhar, Kunduz, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Paktiya and Paktika provinces. In these operations 49 rebels were eliminated and 30 others injured.
