8 Daesh terrorists killed in Nangarhar raids
AT-KABUL: The National Security Directorate said Monday it has killed at least 8 members of the Islamic State group in raids in eastern Nangarhar province, the latest operation against IS strongholds there.
A statement issued by National Directorate of Security (NDS) said that intelligence special detachment operatives have conducted operation in Dara Bandar area of Achin district last night, which resulted at killing of eight Daesh fighters.
Statement said that NDS targeted the Daesh hideouts in the district which beside eight fighters some weapons and ammunition also destroyed.
Daesh fighters planning and managing terrorist and subversive activities from the hideouts targeted by NDS operatives, added statement.
No security forces harmed during operation, underlined the statement.
