ACB to appoint new cricket head coach

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is set to appoint new head coach for the national cricket team, official said Friday.

The ACB spokesman, Farid Hotak, told Afghanistan Times that the decision will be taken as the contract with former Head Coach Andrew Moles has expired and the national team expertise requires a coach with further experiences in this aspect.

He said Moles performed best and ensured Afghan players are properly trained in cricket.

According to him, Moles had hard work with the players and contributed well to promote the cricket team.
The ACB Director Nasimullah Danish and the ACB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shafiqullah Stanekzai have praised the efforts of Moles in promoting the national squad.
