Afghanistan-Bangladesh friendly soccer match ends in a draw

AT Monitoring Desk-KABUL: A friendly soccer match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh football teams ended equally as both the squads scored 1-1.

Heavy rainfall hampered the match and made it difficult for players to score more and display a better performance. The match went to be more amazing after the Afghan player Ismatullah Shenwari hit a goal during the last minutes of the game.

Bangladeshi soccer team had already hit a goal during the initial minutes of the first half of the game.

It comes as Afghanistan defeated Laos in a friendly football match on Friday by 2-0.

Speaking ahead of the friendly match, the Afghan squad head coach, Slaven Skeledzic, said the friendly match against Laos was important for the Afghanistan football in order to have a better understanding of Cambodia soccer team.

Afghanistan will be playing in the same group with Cambodia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying tournament.
