Afghanistan condemns Florida shooting

AT-KABUL: President Ashraf Ghani on Monday condemned in strongest and possible terms the horrific shooting in Orlando, Florida which left dozens of people killed and injured.

“I unequivocally condemn the horrific attack in Orlando, Florida, USA and nothing can justify killing of civilians,” Ghani said in his twitter account.

“My sympathies and thoughts are with the families of the victims, the American people and the US government” he added.

Also, former president Hamid Karzai termed the incident an act against human, saying that killing of innocent people in anywhere by any name is against all principles of humanism.

“It is a humanitarian catastrophe and unforgivable act.”

Karzai wished speedy recovery to the wounded and patience to the families of the victims of this horrible incident.

An American-born Afghan man gunned down 50 people at a nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States.
