Air strikes kill 68 Daesh fighters in Nangarhar

AT-KABUL: At least 68 Daesh fighters have been killed and four others wounded in military operation of Afghan air force in eastern Nangarhar province.

Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the provincial governor office, said that Afghan air force targeted Daesh fighters in various areas of Achin and Chaparhar districts of the province. Afghan forces killed 68 rebels and wounded four others.

Afghan forces also destroyed weapons of the militant group.

He added that there were no casualties to Afghan forces and civilians in the fighting.
