All sensitive materials reach Kabul

KABUL: The process of transferring all sensitive electoral materials form province to Kabul has been completed.  

Aurangzeb, an Independent Election Commission member, told a press conference in Kabul that all sensitive materials, including biometric devices and result sheets, from all provinces had arrived in Kabul.

However, a day earlier, the IEC talked about missing of six biometric sets and 22 SD cards since election day. It also introduced some employees to the judiciary organs in regards.

Aurangzeb said vote results from 21 provinces had been dispatched to the IEC main office and vote results from Kabul, Kapisa, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Panjshir, Khost and Uruzgan provinces had been tallied so far.
