ANDMA helps disaster affected people

AT-KABUL: The Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority on Tuesday donated two million Afghanis to the families suffered from natural disasters.

Acting Head of Disaster Management Department of Kabul Noor Afghan Azimi said that the ANDMA donated two million Afghanis for the affected families of the natural disasters.

He said that each family received 15,000 Afs, but seven families who had lost members of their families in the result of the natural disaster received 50,000 Afghani.

Azimi added that all the families were needy for urgent help therefore the ANDMA provided the cash amount from its budget to the affected ones. “The donation is not sufficient and we hope to find some donors to build their home”.

The affected families said that the donation was not good enough as they live in hard condition with their children. They asked the government to rebuild their damaged houses.
