“Militants wanted to carry out terrorist attacks in the PD2 of the province however, their subservice activities were foiled by security officials,” it said in a statement.

Separately, the national police foiled a roadside bomb placed by militants in Kashk village of the Khowaja Omari district the other day, the statement mentioned.

The ministry said an investigation had been launched for the attack plots and nobody had been arrested yet.
