KABUL: Armed robbers killed a young man in Kabul, police confirmed on Saturday.

The young man was murdered on Friday night in the first phase of the Microrayon residential compound in Police District 16.  The killed man was identified as Massoud Noori.

Kabul police have informed of an investigation launched to find the culprits.

Insecurity has been mounting across Afghanistan, especially in Kabul where the residents are worried of their security, fearing to go out.

Security issues have changed into a big matter of concern for the Kabul residents, losing hope on the security agencies to prevent or at least to bring down the level of daily criminal activities.
