Kabul: American channel “CBS” reported that at least nine people were shot in the Kensington and Allegheny area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of the United States.
This American network, quoting police sources, reported that the victims of this shooting were taken to several hospitals based on the severity of their wounds.
According to the “NBC” network, the inspector of the Philadelphia Police Department said that the number of victims is probably higher than the initial statistics. John Stanford, the first deputy commissioner of the Philadelphia Police, said that several gunmen got out of a car in the Kensington area and fired about 40 rounds. According to him, the condition of two of the wounded in this shooting is serious and the other seven are in a stable condition.
This shooting happened outside a bar in this area around 10:45 PM. The police could not arrest the perpetrators of the shooting and the motive of this bloody shooting is not known.
Last Monday, two people were killed and two others were injured due to the shooting of several people at a party in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is one of several large American cities where the crime rate has increased compared to last year.
Monday’s shooting happened a few weeks after another shooting near Philadelphia’s Temple University; in this shooting, three women and two men were injured and one person was killed.
